High end monitoring chain

Every mix completed in the studio goes though a final check using flush mounted Quested V3110 monitors. Although this is the most reliable reference point, we cannot forget about the everyday music lovers listening through phone or Bluetooth speakers. Therefore, every mix goes through a second reference point through Auratone 5C which are the most similar speakers to the consumers’. Thus every detail of the song remains heard.

The quality of the knob used in studios for volume control (monitor controller) is of utmost importance. While increasing the volume, The monitor controller changes the texture of the sound coming through the speakers which can cause discrepancies when making mixing decisions. To combat this, The Ripple mixing room uses Monitor ST which is the most transparent monitor controller.

The quality of the AD-DA converter plays a huge role in the recording and mixing process. Ripple studios utilizes the gold standard Thunderbolt model of Lynx Aurora, providing the least latency.

A flat and accurate acoustic reaction

In order to dial the sound which will be recorded as accurately as possible, it is critical that the mixing room has an accurate reaction. The Ripple mixing room is one of the flattest rooms in Turkey in terms of acoustic reaction. The mixing table has been positioned where it has the least interference with the room’s acoustic reaction.

The studio’s noise floor is between 10-15dB. These values provide the microphones with a high dynamic range while mixing.
